We are getting closer and closer to opening day. The family and helpers spent last weekend putting a lot of the activities together. This week will be spent putting the final touches on everything. Don't forget if you are interested in working at Amaizing-Acres email us at amaizing-acres@yahoo.com.
We look forward to seeing you next weekend. Dad wants to get everyone together thats interested in working at the farm either Friday evening or Saturday. We'll go over " jobs", pay, get everyone's schedules, have them fill out info sheets and all that good stuff. We will post the day and time when we decide.
Thank you! The pumpkins are growing like weeds... I mean pumpkins. We have got pumpkins coming out our ears.
We now have the slides up and they are awesome. Can't wait for this place to open. Rileigh has tested out the slides and after two hours of continuous testing decided they are AWESOME!!!!
We have had lots of activity at the farm the last few months. All of the cleaning and running of electricity has been finished. The corn maze has been planted and "cut" into our Pony Express maze. Our team of helper has planted the pumpkins and boy was it a lot of work, but they are already coming up after a good rain. Look back often for updates as we get closer and closer to opening day.
Candice Hello All! Work has started on the old farm. Over the last couple of weeks Dad has been doing A LOT of cleaning up at the old farm at the top of the hill. He has trimmed up all of the old brush and vines also getting rid of all the broken limbs from the ice storm a couple of years ago. He and Uncle Kelly spent this week trying to get the old grain truck running to help haul away concrete. We have been getting bid on some of the haunted house scare factors and thinking up new idea. The old chicken shed is almost down and we are going to build a new shed in its place. Still trying to figure out what teh huge beams are in the barn, might have someone who knows about that kind of stuff come and look at them before we just throw them out.
